Company and Shashi Overview 		1937年(昭和12)創業のトヨタ自動車工業(株)が戦後の経営再建策として販売部門を独立させ、1950年(昭和25)トヨタ自動車販売(株)設立。以降潜在需要を開発し、国内から海外に市場を広げる。社史は設立のいきさつから20周年までの歩みを、業容拡大の大きな流れに沿って記述。別冊資料編あり。[1982年(昭和57)再合併しトヨタ自動車(株)発足]
As part of post-WWII restructuring, Toyota separated the sales division from the rest of the company and established Toyota Motor Sales Co., Ltd. in 1950. After this, Toyota Motor Sales developed latent demand and worked towards expanding their market from domestic to global. This shashi covers the developments of Toyota Motor Sales’ first twenty years against a backdrop of corporate expansion. There is also a separate volume of materials. [The companies underwent a merger in 1982 that resulted in the birth of Toyota Motor Corporation.]
